The Homless Hutch

Its always nice when people give you stuff especially when that stuff is a worn piece of furniture.

I received a call from an old friend who said she was moving and she had an old hutch that she needed to get rid of. My first thought was that this had been in the house of a college student so I was not holding my breath on the state of its condition.

After I saw a photo I decided that I could give it a better home than a landfill or some other college students house. The story that will follow in chapters is how I took this old gently used hutch and made it my own.
